Margarita Gleba holds a PhD in Classical and Near Eastern Archaeology from Bryn Mawr College, USA. Her interests are in pre- and protohistory of the Mediterranean region, archaeology of textiles and other organic materials, and the use of scientific methods in archaeology. Marie-Louise Nosch is Director of the Danish National Research Foundation’s Centre for Textile Research, University of Copenhagen and Research professor at the SAXO Institute, University of Copenhagen.
