Madeleine Kangsen Scammell, DSc is an assistant professor of environmental health at the Boston University School of Public Health, USA. She leads the Community Engagement and Research Translation Cores of the Boston University Superfund Research Program. Charles Levenstein, PhD, MSc, is an economist and policy analyst. He is professor emeritus in the Department of Work Environment at the University of Massachusetts-Lowell, USA having retired from teaching in 2003, an adjunct professor of occupational health at Tufts University School of Medicine, USA, and one of the leading researchers on social factors in occupational and environmental health.
