Kevin Durrheim is Professor of Psychology at the University of KwaZulu-Natal, where he teaches social psychology and research methods. He has published extensively on topics related to racism, segregation and social change. Xoliswa Mtose is a social activist and holds the position of Executive Dean in the Faculty of Education at the University of Fort Hare. The complexity and multiplicity of 'blackness' are central analytical categories in Mtose's work within post-apartheid South Africa. She is actively involved as a member of the Anti-Racism Network in Higher Education. Lyndsay Brown has a PhD in Psychology from the University of KwaZulu-Natal. She has worked for local government in Durban and in non-governmental organisations focused on children's and women's rights. Currently she teaches English at Durban Girls' High School.
