Fiona Maclean is an occupational therapist with over 30 years' experience. Fiona has worked and collaborated with people living with dementia to develop a range of innovative educational opportunities such as the first occupational therapy internship programme, funded by Alzheimer Scotland and Santander Universities UK. She has also worked as an Allied Health Professional Project lead at Alzheimer Scotland. She currently works at Edinburgh Napier University.
Dr Alison Warren is an Occupational Therapist with over 30 years' experience. Alison has worked and collaborated with people who have dementia and their caregivers in a range of settings. She led the development of a service for younger people with dementia and is a founder member of the Prime Minister's Dementia Challenge Group for Air Transport. She works at the University of Plymouth.
Elaine Hunter is an occupational therapist with over 37 years' experience in mental health. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Occupational Therapists and delivered the Elizabeth Casson Memorial Lecture in 2013. She currently works in a AHP national strategic leadership role in partnership with Scottish Government and Alzheimer Scotland. She has personal experience of supporting her mum and dad to live well with dementia.
Lyn Westcott is an occupational therapist working in education with over 35 years of experience in the profession. With an interest in leadership, mental health and occupational science, Lyn has taken a number of quality roles in occupational therapy curricula. She currently works as a Professional Lead Consultant at the University of Hertfordshire. Lyn has co-edited 3 other textbooks and made chapter contributions to 2 further edited texts.
