Paul Arthur is Vice-Chancellor’s Professorial Research Fellow, and Chair in Digital Humanities and Social Sciences, at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. He publishes widely on the global impacts of technology in culture and society and was Australia’s first Professor in Digital Humanities (Western Sydney University, 2013–2016). A Fellow of the Royal Historical Society, he has over fifty publications and has given keynote and invited talks in 20 countries. Dr Lydia Hearn has over 30 years of research experience in Australia, Colombia, Egypt, the Netherlands, UK and USA where she has been involved in major projects for organisations such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO), the Organisation of American States (OAS), the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID), and the Australian Department of Health and Ageing. Much of her research has been translated into policy and practice and she has published major reviews, public reports, policy papers and journal articles.
