They both have had long careers in finance and business. Marilee Cottington McAlpine is Linda’s 94-year-old aunt, who was a one-year-old baby on the 1930 trip. She has a degree in business education from the University of Minnesota and taught business and English in a number of states as well as other countries around the world. She lives in the Seattle area and for decades has shared her love of boating and travel.
