The Author: Lennart Johnsson (born 1955) has completed a B.A. and M.Div. at Uppsala University. He took a licentiate degree in Studies in Faiths and Ideologies (1987) and presented his doctoral thesis in Ecclesiology (1999), both at the Faculty of Theology, Uppsala University, Sweden. He is senior lecturer and head of Religious Studies at Växjö University, Sweden.
Johnsson has worked as a teacher in Uppsala and also as a university chaplain (Church of Sweden) in Uppsala and parish minister in both Stockholm and Wederslöf.
