Dr. Kishore Debnath is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Meghalaya. He received his B.E. and MTech in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Agartala and the National Institute of Technology Rourkela respectively. Dr. Debnath earned his PhD from the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India, in 2015. His research interests include composite materials, conventional and non-conventional machining, and manufacturing processes. He has published close to firty research papers in various national and international journals of repute and conference proceedings. He has also contributed six chapters in different books published by internationally renowned publishers.
Dr. Inderdeep Singh completed his bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Hamirpur in 1998. He was first in the class of Mechanical Engineering. He completed his Master of Technology and Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology Delhi in 2000 and 2004 respectively. His doctoral research work was awarded by the Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) as the “Best Industry Relevant Ph.D. Project” during the session 2004-2005. He started his career as Lecturer at the Institute of Technology, BHU in 2004. He joined the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee as Lecturer in 2005 and is currently working as Associate Professor. He has published over 180 research papers in journals and conferences.He has contributed 15 chapters in different books published by internationally renowned publishers. He has supervised ten Ph.D. candidates and is currently supervising five Ph.D. scholars. He has guided thirty-five Master’s Thesis and thirty-two B.Tech projects in the area of conceptualization, processing and characterization of composite materials. His current research focus is developing fully biodegradable green composites.
