Sabyasachi Bhunia received his BSc degree in chemistry from Vidyasagar University, India, his MSc from Jadavpur University, India, and his PhD in chemistry from National Tsing-Hua University, Taiwan, under the supervision of Prof. Rai-Shung Liu. He then carried out postdoctoral research with Prof. Rai-Shung Liu at National Tsing-Hua University and with Prof. Peter H. Seeberger at Max Planck Institute of Colloids and Interfaces, Germany. He then moved to GVK BIO, India, as a scientist. In 2016, he started his academic career as an assistant professor at Central University of Jharkhand, India. His current research is in the area of developing the new organic transformation using transition metal catalysts and nanoparticles Dr. Brajesh Kumar is currently working as an Assistant Professor and Head in the Post Graduate Department of Chemistry, TATA College, Chaibasa, India. He received B.Sc, M.Sc and Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Delhi, India. His research interests include the development of sustainable and eco-friendly techniques for nanoparticle synthesis and their applications for environmental remediation, nanomedicine, sensors, natural product extraction, purification and analysis, natural polymers, active films of organic solar cells, peptide chemistry, microwave and ultrasound assisted organic synthesis. Dr. Brajesh Kumar has credited different national and international fellowships and worked as a faculty member in various universities throughout India, Ecuador, and South Korea. He has also published numerous SCI/SCIE/Scopus research articles and is an active reviewer of more than 50 journals. Dr. Pardeep Singh is presently working as an Assistant professor (Department of Environmental Science, PGDAV College, University of Delhi, New Delhi, India). He obtained his master's degree from the Department of Environmental Science Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi India in 2011. He obtained his doctorate from the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi in the year 2017. The area of his doctoral research is the degradation of organic pollutants through various indigenous isolated microbes and by using various types of photocatalytic. He has published more than 65 papers in the international journals in the fields of waste management. Ramesh Oraon is an Assistant Professor (Department of Nanoscience and Technology, Central University of Jharkhand, Brambe, India. His research areas are synthesis, functionalization, characterization of carbon materials, metal oxides, polymers and their electrochemical analysis for applications in energy storage, sensors, etc. Prof. Ki-Hyun Kim, Ph.D., is a Professor based at the Air Quality and Materials Application Lab, in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering, Hanyang University, Korea. His research areas cover various aspects of research incorporating Air Quality & Environmental Engineering into Material Engineering, with an emphasis on advanced novel materials such as Metal-Organic Frameworks (MOFs). Prof. Kim was named as one of the top 10 National Star Faculties in Korea in 2006 and became an Academician of the Korean Academy of Science and Technology in 2018. He was recognized as ‘Highly Cited Researcher (HCR)’ for 2019 and 2020 in the Environment & Ecology field by Clarivate Analytics. He currently serves as associate editor of Environmental Research, Sensors, and Critical Reviews in Environmental Science & Technology, and has published more than 840 articles, many in leading scientific journals.
