Khyrunnisa A. a prize-winning author of childrens fiction, created the popular comic character Butterfingers for the childrens magazine, Tinkle. Her Butterfingers stories are a regular feature of that magazine. Her first childrens novel, Howzzat Butterfingers!, was published by Puffin in 2010. Her stories appear regularly in Tinkle, Dimdima and other childrens magazines and she freelances for other publications too. A book of short stories, Lost in Ooty and Other Adventure Stories, was published by Unisun Publications in 2010.
