Kenna Quinet Author

Richard Rosenfeld is a Curators Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at the University of Missouri-St. Louis and a past President of the American Society of Criminology. He has written several articles on violent crime, crime statistics, and crime control policy, and his current research focuses on explaining changes in crime rates over time. He is an ASC Fellow and has served on the National Academy of Sciences Committee on Law and Justice. Kenna Quinet is Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, Law and Public Safety in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI. She is also a Faculty Fellow of the Indiana University Public Policy Institute, Center for Criminal Justice Research. Her primary research interests are homicide, missing persons, unidentified dead, and unclaimed dead. Kenna was co-chair of the 2010 Program Committee for the American Society of Criminology’s annual conference in San Francisco. Crystal A. Garcia is Associate Professor of Criminal Justice, Law and Public Safety in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at IUPUI. Crystal’s primary research and teaching interests include juvenile justice and crime policy, gender-specific programming, the death penalty, re-entry, and community corrections. She is currently leading a statewide effort to collect and analyze disproportionate minority contact data in Indiana. Crystal was co-chair of the 2010 Program Committee for the American Society of Criminology’s annual conference in San Francisco.
