Jurg Conzett Author

Jurg Conzett, born in 1956, graduated as civil engineer from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Lausanne and Zurich. He has been working at Peter Zumthor's studio from 1981-88 before establishing his own practice as an independent consultant structural engineer in Chur (Switzerland). Their main activities are designing structures for buildings together with architects as well as working on projects for bridges and bridge repairs.Conzett is a familiar name within the professional community internationally and also for specialist booksellers from the large monograph 'Structure as Space: Engineering and Architecture in the Works of Jurg Conzett' (Architectural Association Publications, London, 2003). Martin Linsi, born in 1956 in Zurich. He has been educated as a photographer at Gloucestershire College of Art and Design in the UK, where he took his degree in 1978. He lives and works in Einsiedeln, Switzerland.
