Josip Lorincz Author & Editor

Josip Lorincz received his B.Sc. (M.S. equivalent) and Ph. D. degree in telecommunications engineering and computer science from the University of Split, Croatia in 2002 and 2010, respectively. In 2003 he joined the Department of Electronics and Computing at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture (FESB), University of Split, Croatia, where he currently works as a full professor. He was also a visiting researcher at the Politecnico di Milano University, Milan, Italy. As a project leader or researcher, he participated in more than twenty scientific and professional projects funded by the public or private sector. He is the founder and co-chair of the Symposium on Green Networking and Computing, organized in the frame of the International Conference on Software, Telecommunications and Computer Networks (SoftCOM). His current research interests include energy-efficient wireless and wired networks, optimization in telecommunications, advanced design, the management and analyses of computer heterogeneous networks, and performance evolution of routing protocols. He is a senior IEEE member, a senior ACM member, and the first president of the Croatian ACM chapter.

Zvonimir Klarin currently serves as a lecturer at the Šibenik University of Applied Sciences, Croatia, where he teaches various courses related to computer science. He received his MS degree in Computer Science from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Naval Architecture (FESB), University of Split, Croatia, where he is currently pursuing a PhD, specializing in energy efficiency in wireless communication networks. His research focuses on optimizing energy consumption in both wireless and wired networks, telecommunications, improving network efficiency and the management and analysis of heterogeneous computer networks. He is a member of IEEE and participates in the organization of international scientific and professional conferences.
