Jonathan Corren, MD, obtained his baccalaureate with honors in biology at the University of California, Los Angeles and attended medical school at the University of California, San Diego (1979–83).Following an internship in Internal Medicine at LAC-USC Medical Center (1983–84), he completed his medicine residency at the University of California, Davis (1985–87).He specialized in allergy and immunology at the National Jewish Medical and Research Center in Denver (1988–90), and joined the faculty of Colorado University, Denver, School of Medicine, as a staff physician and instructor in medicine (1990–91).He joined the clinical faculty of the University of California, Los Angeles, in 1991, where he served as training program director for the Allergy/Immunology Fellowship, Director of the Allergy/Immunology Clinic and Co-Director of the Nasal and Sinus Disease Center. He is currently Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at the University of California, Los Angeles and maintains a private allergy practice in the West Los Angeles area, specializing in asthma, allergic rhinitis, and chronic rhinosinusitis. He is actively involved in clinical research, and his current areas of interest include the relationship between upper and lower airway disease and new treatments for rhinitis, asthma rhinosinusitis, atopic dermatitis, and urticaria. He has published over 130 original articles, chapters, abstracts, and monographs regarding asthma, rhinitis, and sinusitis.
