John V Quarstein Author

John V. Quarstein served as the director of the Virginia War Museum until he retired in 2008 after 30 years of service. He is presently director emeritus of the USS Monitor Center at the Mariners' Museum and Park. Quarstein has authored 19 books and has written numerous articles, exhibits, essays, and documentaries. He resides in Hampton, Virginia. Robert L. Worden retired from the Library of Congress in 2007 after 38 years of Federal service, during which he authored more than 100 Asia-related historical and current affairs studies and books for government agencies. A collateral descendant of Admiral Worden, he has written extensively about his family history. He lives in Annapolis, Maryland.
