John Huddleston Author

John Huddleston is the Fletcher Professor of Studio Art Emeritus at Middlebury College. He has had one-person exhibitions at the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans, DeCordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts, Massachusetts Institute of Technology Museum, Stony Brook University Art Gallery, University of California, Riverside, Art Gallery, University of Michigan Art Museum at Ann Arbor, and Wave Hill in New York City, among others. Huddleston’s other books are Killing Ground: Photographs of the Civil War and the Changing American Landscape (Johns Hopkins University Press, 2002) and Healing Ground: Walking the Small Farms of Vermont (Center for American Places, 2012). Bill McKibben is the Schumann Distinguished Scholar in Environmental Studies at Middlebury College, a Fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, a founder of 350.org, the first planet-wide, grassroots climate change movement, and the author of more than a dozen books.
