He is the author of Sisters of Gore, Gore on Stage, Homosexualities in theEnglish Theatre from Lyly to Wilde, Duke Ellington'sMusic for the Theatre, a three-volume translation of the Plays of the Marquis de Sade, and David Braham: TheAmerican Offenbach.
