Bart Neuts holds an M.A. in both Applied Economics and Tourism and a Ph.D. in Tourism. He has worked as a lecturer at Auckland University of Technology. Currently, he is affiliated with both KU Leuven and Visit Flanders. His main areas of research are tourism externalities and sustainable development.
João Martins is a full professor at NOVA School of Sciences and Technology, Lisbon, Portugal. He has over 90 publications in books/journals and over 180 articles published in conference proceedings. He has participated in several national and international projects and is currently with CTS/UNINOVA as a leading scientist in the domain of Cultural Tourism and Energy Efficiency.
Marinos Ioannides, UNESCO Chair Holder on Digital Cultural Heritage since 2017, leads the Digital Heritage Research Lab at Cyprus University of Technology. He was the coordinator of several EU projects in the domain of digital documentation of the past and the principal investigator of the EU Study VIGIE2020/654 for the 3D digitization of tangible cultural heritage. Since 2006, Ioannides has been the chairman of the successful biannual EuroMed conferences on Digital Cultural Heritage and as of 2020 a nominated corresponding Member of the German Archaeological Institute..
