Christine Callender is Lecturer in Education at UCL Institute of Education, UK. She has worked in schools, colleges and in the higher education sector for over 20 years and has undertaken consultancies nationally and internationally.

Joanna Madalińska-Michalak is Head of Department of Teaching and Pedeutology and Professor of Education at the Faculty of Education, University of Warsaw, Poland. She is President of the Polish Educational Research Association (Polskie Towarzystwo Pedaogiczne) and a member of the Council Board of the European Educational Research Association.
