Professor Jin focuses on a poly-generation technology based on coal gasification for hydrogen production, power generation and heat supply (Coal gasification in supercritical water), the harmless treatment and resource utilization of biomass and organic wastes, theory in multiphase flow in thermochemistry. He has published more than 130 paper with more than 3600 citations. 9 papers have been selected into ESI highly cited papers and 2 papers have been selected into hot papers. He also has public or authorized 27 patents. I was invited to be the keynote speaker of the international conference five times, and was awarded by science and technology award in Shaanxi province (ranking 3rd) and " Chung-Hua Wu Outstanding Students Award " issued by the Chinese Society of Engineering Thermophysics. Prof. Dr. Jinwen Shi received his BS degree of Environmental Engineering (Jul. 2005) and his Ph.D. degree of Power Engineering and Engineering Thermophysics (Jun. 2012) under the supervision of Prof. Liejin Guo at Xi'an Jiaotong University, Xi'an, China. He worked as a visiting Ph.D. student (Oct. 2008~Sep. 2009) under the supervision of Prof. Jinhua Ye at National Institute for Materials Science in Tsukuba, Japan. He is an associate professor at the International Research Center for Renewable Energy, State Key Laboratory of Multiphase Flow in Power Engineering, and at the Department of New Energy Science and Engineering, School of Energy and Power Engineering, Xi'an Jiaotong University. His research interest is focused on the conversion and utilization of renewable energies, new energy materials, and photocatalysis. He published over 90 SCI-indexed papers in international journals with over 2300 citations and 6 ESI highly cited papers, and was granted over 10 China invention patents. He achieved the first prize in Science and Technology (issued by Shaanxi Province in 2017). Liejin Guo, an Academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences and Engineering Thermal Physicist, focuses on Energy Power Multiphase Flow and Hydrogen Energy Science and Technology. He has Published more than 900 papers on many internationally renowned academic journals including NAT COMMUN, NAT ENERGY, CHEM REV, JACS, IJMF and IJHE., cited 32351 times in google scholar. Among them, 530 papers are indexed by SCI and 26 Papers are selected as highly cited papers by ESI. He has published 8 monographs/chapters and 6 proceedings, and 7 issues of international magazine albums as guest editor. He has obtained more than 60 authorized patents as well. In addition, he has made more than 60 keynote / plenary /invited reports at major international conferences. He has served as Co-Chair of Major International Academic Conferences more than 20 times.
