Prof. Shu-Chuan Chu received a Ph.D. degree in 2004 from the School of Computer Science, Engineering and Mathematics, Flinders University of South Australia. She joined Flinders University in December 2009 after 9 years at the Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan. She has been a Research Fellow and Associate Professor in the College of Science and Engineering of Flinders University, Australia since December 2009. Currently, she is a Research Fellow with a Ph.D. advisor in the College of Computer Science and Engineering of Shandong University of Science and Technology from September 2019. Her research interests are mainly in Swarm Intelligence, Intelligent Computing, and Wireless Sensor Network.


Prof. Jerry Chun-Wei Lin received his Ph.D. from the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering, National Cheng Kung University, Tainan, Taiwan in 2010. He is currently a full Professor with the Department of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, Bergen, Norway. He has published more than 400 research articles in refereed journals (IEEE TKDE, IEEE TCYB, IEEE TII, IEEE TITS, IEEE TNSE, IEEE TETCI, IEEE SysJ, IEEE SensJ, IEEE IOTJ, ACM TKDD, ACM TDS, ACM TMIS, ACM TOIT, ACM TIST) and international conferences (IEEE ICDE, IEEE ICDM, PKDD, PAKDD), 11 edited books, as well as 33 patents (held and filed, 3 US patents). His research interests include data mining, soft computing, artificial intelligence/machine learning, and privacy preserving and security technologies. He is the Editor-in-Chief of the International Journal of Data Science and Pattern Recognition, the Guest Editor/Associate Editor for several IEEE/ACM journals such as IEEE TFS, IEEE TII, ACM TMIS, ACM TOIT, and IEEE Access. He has recognized as the most cited Chinese Researcher respectively in 2018 and 2019 by Scopus/Elsevier. He is the Fellow of IET (FIET), senior member for both IEEE and ACM.


Prof. Jianpo Li received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. from the Department of Communication Engineering, Jilin University, China, in 2002, 2005, and 2008, respectively. In 2008, he joined the School of Information Engineering, Northeast Electric Power University (NEEPU). He was a visiting scholar with New York University in 2013 and University of Ottawa in 2016. Now he is a full professor and Vice-dean of the School of Computer Science, NEEPU. He has published more than 80 research papers, and has 21 patents. His research interests focus on wireless sensor networks, intelligent signal processing, 5G, wireless power transmission.


Jeng-Shyang Pan received the B. S. degree in Electronic Engineering from the National Taiwan University of Science and Technology in 1986, the M. S. degree in Communication Engineering from the National Chiao Tung University, Taiwan in 1988, and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Edinburgh, U.K. in 1996. He was the Department Head of Electronic Engineering and the Vice Dean in the College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, National Kaohsiung University of Applied Sciences, Director of Innovative Information Industry Research Center of Harbin Institute of Technology, Assistant President and Dean in the College of Information Science and Engineering, Fujian University of Technology. Currently he is the professor at the College of Computer Science and Engineering, Shandong University of Science and Technology. He is the IET Fellow, UK and has been the Tainan Chapter Chair of the IEEE Signal Processing Society and the Vice Chair of IEEE Tainan Section. He was Awarded Gold Prize in the International Micro Mechanisms Contest held in Tokyo, Japan in 2010. He was also awarded Gold Medal in the Pittsburgh Invention & New Product Exposition (INPEX) in 2010, Gold Medal in the International Exhibition of Geneva Inventions in 2011 and 2019 and Gold Medal of the IENA, International “Ideas – Inventions – New products”, Nuremberg, Germany in 2011. He was also awarded the Outstanding Youth from Kaohsiung City, Outstanding Engineering Professor from Chinese Institute of Electrical Engineering, the Excellent Teacher from Taiwan Education Ministry and Outstanding People Teacher from Fujian Province. He has 40 invention patents and publishes 300 papers indexed by SCI. His current research interests include artificial intelligence, information hiding and wireless sensor network
