Jagjit Nanda, PhD, is the Group Leader and Distinguished Staff Scientist in the Chemical Sciences Division at Oak Ridge National Laboratory. He is an expert in energy storage materials and interfaces focusing on lithium-ion and next generation battery materials and systems.

Veronica Augustyn, PhD,is Associate Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at North Carolina State University in the United States. Her research focuses on the electrochemistry of materials in energy-relevant technologies, including energy storage.
