Aleš Březina studierte Musikwissenschaft in Prag und Basel. Seit 1994 wirkt er als Direktor des Martinů-Institutes in Prag. Er ist Leiter der Bohuslav Martinů Gesamtausgabe, Verfasser von Studien und Aufsätzen über Bohuslav Martinů und die Musik des 20. Jahrhunderts sowie Herausgeber von zahlreichen Werken Martinůs.
Ivana Rentsch studierte Musikwissenschaft, Publizistik und Linguistik an der Universität Zürich. Von 2000 bis 2005 war sie Wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin am Institut für Musikwissenschaft der Universität Bern, dort promovierte sie 2004 mit einer Doktorarbeit über Bohuslav Martinůs Opern der Zwischenkriegszeit. Seit 2006 arbeitet sie als Assistentin am Musikwissenschaftlichen Institut der Universität Zürich (Habilitation 2010).
Aleš Březina studied musicology in Prague and Basel. Since 1994 he has been serving as Director of the Martinů Institute in Prague. He heads the editorial team for the Bohuslav Martinů Complete Edition, has written many studies and essays about Martinů and music of the twentieth century, and has edited numerous works by Martinů.
Ivana Rentsch studied musicology, journalism, and German linguistics at the University in Zürich. From 2000 to 2005 she was a Scholarly Adjunct at the Institute for Musicology of the University in Bern, where she earned her doctor’s degree in 2004 with a thesis about the operas of Bohuslav Martinů from the interwar period. Since 2006 she has been an Assistant at the Musicological Institute of the University in Zürich (Habilitation 2010).
