Ian Roumain was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico. A graduate of NYU’s Tisch School Of The Arts, he moved to Los Angeles. Once there he lost his way and wound up working as an agent representing (wonderful) actors. Since then he has shifted gears and directed documentaries like That Guy...Who Was In That Thing and its sequel That Gal...Who Was In That Thing for Showtime, 50 Years Of Star Trek for The History Channel, and More To Come: A Tonight Show Documentary for Hulu. He’s also produced various documentary series, including The Movies The Made Us for Netflix, The Center Seat for The History Channel, Icons Unearthed for Vice, and Behind The Attraction for Disney+. Ian lives with his wife, his son, and two wonderful mutts. Hadrian’s Fall is his first novel.
