Henrike Donner is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Anthropology at Goldsmiths, University of London, UK. Her research interests are gender and kinship, class and urban politics. She is the author of Domestic Goddesses: Maternity, Globalisation and Middle-Class Identity in Contemporary India (2008) and editor of Being Middle-Class in India: A Way of Life (Routledge 2011), and series editor of the Routledge Series on Urban South Asia.
