Dr. Ayon Tarafdar is currently working as an ARS Scientist at ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute under the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. He obtained his Ph. D from NIFTEM-Kundli (India) in Food Engineering and has worked as a fully funded researcher in Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, USA. His main research focus has been on non-thermal food processing operations, bioprocess modelling and optimization, nanotechnology, machine learning, food waste valorization, advanced food characterization tools and precision agriculture. He has published more than 92 scientific research papers and reviews in addition to thirteen book chapters, two books and one patent (filed). Dr. Tarafdar serves on the Editorial board of the Journal of Food Quality (IF 3.20) and the International Journal of Chemical Engineering (IF 2.72). Professor Ashok Pandey is currently Distinguished Scientist at the Centre for Innovation and Translational Research, CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow, India and Executive Director (Honorary) at the Centre for Energy and Environmental Sustainability – India. Formerly, he was Eminent Scientist at the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing, Mohali and Chief Scientist & Head of Biotechnology Division and Centre for Biofuels at CSIR’s National Institute for Interdisciplinary Science and Technology, Trivandrum. His major research and technological development interests are industrial & environmental biotechnology and energy biosciences, focusing on biomass to biofuels & chemicals, waste to wealth & energy, industrial enzymes, etc. Professor Pandey is Adjunct/Visiting Professor/Scientist in universities in France, Brazil, Canada, China, Korea, South Africa, and Switzerland and also in several universities several in India. He has ~1425 publications/communications, which include 16 patents, 90 books, >700 papers and book chapters, etc with h index of 105 and ~48,800 citations (Goggle scholar). He has transferred several technologies to industries and has done industrial consultancy for about a dozen projects for Indian/international industries. Dr. Gyanendra Kumar Gaur is currently Principal Scientist & Incharge, Livestock Production and Management Section at ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar. Dr. Gaur received his PhD in Animal Genetics and Breeding from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izzatnagar. He has more than 31 years of experience in research, education and extension work in Agricultural Research Service. Dr. Gaur has executed 25 research projects (NAIP, NASF, UPCAR, Elanco Animal Health, AICRP and Institutional) as Principal/Co-Principal Investigator. 176 of his papers have been published in national and international journals. Apart from this, he has published 10 books/technical bulletins. Dr. Mukesh Singh is working as a Principal Scientist (Farm Machinery and Power) at LPM Section of ICAR-IVRI, Izatnagar, India. He has done his B. Tech. and Masters in Agricultural Engineering from University of Allahabad, and completed his Doctorate in Farm Machinery and Power Engineering from GBPUA&T, Pantnagar. He has also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resource Management from IGNOU, New Delhi. He has supervised as Chairman, Student Advisory Committee, 6 M.VSc. and 4 Ph.D thesis of IVRI Deemed University. He has published 63 Research articles, 25 book chapters/ lead papers, edited 5 books/compendium and 135 technical popular articles. He was also a member of organizing committees of different institute activities such IVRI Pashu Mela, University convocation, Board of Management and Academic Council Meetings. He is a life member of 15 Scientific, educational and professional Societies. His present area of specialization is Livestock Farm Machinery Management, Livestock Housing under climate change. Presently, he is the coordinator of Farm Machinery & Power Section and Incharge, LPM, workshop unit at IVRI. Dr. Hari Om Pandey is currently working as a Senior scientist at the ICAR-Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Bareilly, Uttar Pradesh, India. He completed his doctorate from the University of Bonn, Germany. He has more than 13 years of research, training and teaching experience in the field of animal science. He has more than 35 research communications to his name. Dr. H. O. Pandey is a recipient of numerous awards including Reviewer’s excellence award, ICAR-international fellowship, Larry Ewing Memorial Trainee Travel Fund, Travel Grant from Theodor-Brinkmann Graduate School (University of Bonn), Young Scientist Travel Grant by DST-SERB, India among other junior and senior research fellowships. He also serves as a reviewer in many peer-reviewed journals of international reputation.
