Afzal Husain Khan is currently working as a Lecturer in Civil Engineering Department at the Jazan University, Saudi Arabia. He received his B. E in Civil Engineering and M. Tech degrees in Environmental Engineering from the Aligarh Muslim University, India. Presently, he is pursuing his PhD from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia. His research interests include wastewater treatment with an emphasis on pharmaceuticals removal using physicochemical, biological and advanced methods. Other interests are MSW management, durability, and strength studies of concrete. He is currently working as Guest Associate Editor in Frontiers in Sustainability and Frontiers in Environmental Chemistry. His recent articles have been published in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including the Journal of Cleaner Production, Recent Trends in Analytical Chemistry, Chemosphere, Environmental Research, and Journal of water Processing, based on treatment technologies for hospital wastewater treatment. Khan has been involved in many funded projects under the Deanship of Scientific Research (DSR) in Saudi Arabia. He attended numerous National or International Conferences and Workshops. He is also a life member of the Institution of Engineers, India. He is also a reviewer in prestigious peer-reviewed journals, including Nature; Elsevier, Springer and MDPI. He has more than 5 Patents and 1000 citations with H-index of 17 to his Google Scholar account. Dr. Nadeem A Khan is currently working as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering, Mewat Engineering College, India. He also worked as a Head of Department (HoD) from 2014 to 2017. He completed his Ph.D. from Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi in 2022. Has received his M. TECH. (Civil Engineering) in 2011 with Honors in Environmental Engineering from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He is acting as an Editorial board member of Nature journal- Scientific Reports and worked for Springer journal special issue of Discover water and for Hindawi Journal special issue (IF= 4.2). His recent accomplishments included 15 Coursera course completion certificates. He was awarded the Best Young Scientist Award (Male) by LWT India and GECL for his Scientific contribution to Environmental Engineering. Dr. Khan was associated with the Ministry of Environment and Forest (India) for two years as Junior Research Fellow (J.R.F) in 2009-11 and also worked with UNICEF as a Research Assistant (R.A) on the topic of GIS mapping and Water quality parameter estimation, 2012. He has attended several conferences, workshops, seminars, and research and engaged in research projects. He has published 04 Books with International Publishers, 63 papers in SCI, and 05 editorial experience in his account. He has also published more than 10 patents in Civil Engineering and water treatment. He is also active in social welfare activities. Dr. Mu. Naushad is working as a Full Professor at the Department of Chemistry, College of Science, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He received (B.S/M.S/Ph.D) degrees from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, India. His research interest mainly focuses on wastewater treatment. He is the author/co-author of over 450 refereed journal publications, several US patents, 25 book chapters and 25 books published by Springer, Nova, CRC and Elsevier. His work is widely recognized and has more than 26500 citations with H-index of 86 according to Google Scholar Citations. He has been included in the list of HIGHLY CITED RESEARCHER 2019, 2020 & 2021 which is one of the best achievements for an academician. He has been listed in top 2% of scientists in the world issued by Stanford University, USA. He is the editor/editorial member of several reputed Journals such as Nature; Elsevier, Springer and MDPI. He has also served as an associate editor in the Environmental Chemistry Letters (Springer). Presently, he is associate editor of J. Water Process Eng. (Elsevier) & managing editor of Nanotechnology for Environmental Engineering Journal (Springer). Dr. Naushad is the recipient of several prestigious awards, including the Scientist of the year award-2015, NESA, Delhi, India; Almarai Award-2017, Saudi Arabia and Best Research quality award-2019 (Ist position), King Saud University. He is a Fellow of Royal Society of Chemistry (FRSC). Hamidi Abdul Aziz is a Professor in Environmental Engineering in the School of Civil Engineering of Universiti Sains Malaysia. Professor Aziz received his PhD degree in civil engineering (Environmental Engineering) from the University of Strathclyde in Scotland in 1992. He is a guest editor of the special issue on landfill leachate management and control of the International Journal of Environment and Waste Management (IJEWM). Professor Aziz currently serves as the Editor-in-chief of the International Journal of Scientific Research in Environmental Sciences (IJSRES). He also serves as the Managing Editor of the International Journal of Environment and Waste Management, IJEWM and the International of Journal of Environmental Engineering, IJEE. Professor Aziz's research focuses on alleviating problems associated with water pollution issues from industrial wastewater discharges and from solid waste management via landfilling, such as landfill leachate. Advanced oxidation processes is also one of his research focuses. In addition, he has strong interest in biodegradation and bioremediation of oil spills
