Gustavo Gonzalez, (Argentina) began working with Oracle in the late 1990s as a Business Systems Analyst for Nike Argentina when he helped the company rollout Oracle Financials 10.7. As the new decade dawned, Gustavo added a global element to his Oracle expertise, working as a Senior Systems Engineer for Nike USAs Global IT/IS group, where supported the BI tools that Nikes Americas Sales division depended upon. During this time, Gustavo also took on lead roles in Oracle implementations in Brazil and South Africa. In 2003 Gustavo returned to Argentina, working as a Principle Consultant for Oracle Argentina delivering Order to Cash solutions to a diverse range of clients encompassing everything from Oil and Gas companies to cable TV providers. His next stop was for Danone Argentina, where he worked as an ERP project manager where he managed a number of Oracle ERP initiatives covering the companys Shared Service Center operations in both Argentina and Uruguay. Since 2006 Gustavo has served as IT Convergences Global IT Director. In that capacity he has serviced the companys global shared services center located in Buenos Argentina. Under Gustavo, IT Convergence has implemented Oracle HRMS, Oracle Telesales, Oracle Service, Noetix, and OBIEE globally. The company has also rolled out Procedure to Pay and Oracle Time and Labor in addition to using Oracle Portal for its Intranet and Internet solutions. Finally, in 2008 Gustavo also led IT Convergences upgrade Oracle R12, making ITC one of the first companies in Latin America to use R12.He was distinguee as Oracle ACE in August 2010 for his strong credentials as Oracle community enthusiast and advocate.In 2012, Gustavo had lead two major projects at IT Convergence. As a project manager of the Oracle R12.2 beta program, was the first company worldwide joining the efforts with Oracle Development to test an upgrade of Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12.2. He also was the Program Manager of the Fusion Applications implementation for IT Convergence for Human Capital Management and Financials, being the first company in Latin America implementing the brand new software from Oracle.
