Ke-Lin Du received the PhD in electrical engineering from Huazhong University of Science and Technology, China, in 1998. He founded Xonlink Inc., Ningbo, China in 2014. He was Chief Scientist at Enjoyor Inc., Hangzhou, China from 2012 to 2014. He was on research staff at Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada from 2001 to 2010. He has been an Affiliate Associate Professor at Concordia University since 2011. Prior to 2001, he was on technical staff with Huawei Technologies, China Academy of Telecommunication Technology, and Chinese University of Hong Kong. He visited Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2008.Ke-Lin Du has authored 5 books (Neural Networks in a Softcomputing Framework, Springer, London, 2006; Wireless Communication Systems, Cambridge University Press, New York, 2010; Neural Networks and Statistical Learning, Springer, London, 2014, and 2nd edition, 2019; Search and Optimization by Metaheuristics, Springer, 2016), and coedited 10 books (Springer). He has also published over 50+ papers, and has 6 issued U.S. patents and 30+ Chinese patents. Currently, his research interests are signal processing, wireless communications, and machine learning. He has co-supervised 12 graduate students.Ke-Lin Du has been a Senior Member of the IEEE since 2009. He is/was on Editorial Board or as Associate Editor of dozens of journals, including IET Signal Processing (2007), Circuits, Systems & Signal Processing (2009), Mathematics (2021), AI (2021), and IEEE Spectrum Chinese Edition (2012). Chandra has functioned as Chair in numerous technology and advanced computing conferences such as: IEEE Oxford, UK, IEEE Big Data Services 2017, San Francisco, USA, and Future of Information and Communication Conference 2018, Singapore. Chandra graduated from San Jose State University Master’s Program, specializing in Software Engineering, and completed his Master of Business Administration from Santa Clara University, Santa Clara, California, USA.
Grigorios N. Beligiannis was born in Athens, Greece, in 1974. He graduated from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics of the University of Patras in 1997. He finished his postgraduate studies in “Computer and Information Technology” in 2000 and his doctoral dissertation in 2002 at the same time department. In 2007, he was elected to the lecturer’s degree with knowledge area “Management Information Systems”. In 2011, he has evolved at the rank of Assistant Professor, in 2016, at the rank of Associate Professor and in 2020, at the rank of Professor with subject “Intelligent Information Systems”. He has 42 published research papers in international scientific journals, 45 published papers in scientific conferences and 3 chapters in edited book series. He is Associate Editor of International Journal of Artificial Intelligence and Member of the Editorial Board of Applied Soft Computing, Helyion, International Journal of Intelligent Information Systems and Artificial Intelligence Research.
