Francis Hopcroft Author

Cristina Cosma, PhD, PE, is a professor of construction management at Wentworth Institute of Technology in the Miles and Eugenia Sweeney Department of Construction Management. She was born in Romania, where she graduated with a BSCE from the ÒGh. AsachiÓ Technical University of Ia_i (TUIASI). She holds a PhD in civil engineering from the University of Florida and is a registered professional engineer.

Francis Hopcroft, PE, LSP, served in a variety of project management roles as a consultant and as a federal employee for two decades before entering the teaching profession in 1993. He continued his consulting services in the areas of civil and environmental engineering while teaching full-time at Wentworth Institute of Technology in Boston. Recently retired after teaching civil and environmental engineering for 23 years, he serves as the collection editor for the Environmental Engineering Collection at Momentum Press.
