Francesca Costa Illustrator & Editor

Francesca Costa is Associate Professor in English Language and Linguistics at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore of Milan. Her area of research focuses on applied linguistics, the teaching and learning of the English language at all levels of education (from primary to university) with a particular focus on codeswitching and translanguaging, bilingual education, CLIL, ICLHE, EMI, and scientific English. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Science and a doctorate in Education from the Department of Languages of the Open University, UK.
