Filippo Ricci Author

Geoff Andrews is a historian in the politics department of The Open University. In 1995, he set up Philosophy Football FC, which suffered many mud-soaked defeats before Filippo Ricci, an Italian journalist brought up in Rome, arrived in London and demanded a cultural revolution on and off the pitch. Grass, rain, food, philosophy and football cemented a firm friendship that would ultimately lead to the creation of this book.
