Sami Ben Slama is an Associate Professor at King Abdulaziz University. He is the chairman of SEAHF Conference. He obtained the Master and PhD degrees in Electronic Engineering at Faculty of sciences of Tunisia in 2010 and 2013, respectively. In 2005, he received the B.S. in electronics at Faculty of sciences of Tunisia. His Fields of Research Interests are renewable energy photovoltaic power, smart cities, energy system designing, modeling, hybrid electrical system, Computer science and networking, smart grid, smart home using hydrogen gases and so on. He has published more than 35 journal and international conference papers. He proposed more than seven industrial projects at King Abdulaziz University. Fethi Choubani was born in Mahdia (Tunisia) in 1961. He received the electrical engineering diploma from Ecole Nationale d’Ingenieurs de Tunis, Tunisia in 1987 and the MEng and PhD degrees from ENSEEIHT, Institut National Polytechnique de Toulouse, Toulouse, France in 1988 and 1993, respectively. Since 1993, he has been with Sup’Com, Ecole superieure des Communications de Tunis as an Assistant, Associate and Professor in charge of radiofrequency components and devices, and ElectroMagnetic Compatibility. His main interests are focused on oscillators and their applications to electromagnetic sensors, EMC, nonlinear devices, modeling of passive, active components and RF techniques and measurements. He has been offered a position of visiting Research Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 1999 during 3 months, and in Laplace laboratory in ENSEEIHT for one month. He was Head of the Telecommunications Department, ESPTT (Tunisia) from 1995 to 1996, Director of Strategic studies, Tunisia Telecom (Tunisian operator in Telecommunications during 1999–2001), Director of Iset’Com during 2010–2011, and served as ICT Minister Advisor from 2012 to 2014. He has published more than 100 journal and international conference papers. Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor at “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania. She is author of more than 350 research papers. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing. She is Editor-in Chief to International Journal of Advanced Intelligence Paradigms (IJAIP) and to IJCSE. Dr. Balas is member of EUSFLAT, ACM and a SM IEEE, member in TC – SC (IEEE SMCS), SIAM, Joint Secr. FIM India, "Tudor Tanasescu" Prize from Romanian Academy, 2019. Afef Abdelkrim has obtained a Diploma of Engineer in 2000 and the PhD in Electrical Engineering at the National School of Engineers of Tunis (ENIT) in 2005; she is now a Professor at the High School of Technology and Computer Science (ESTI, now ENICarthage). Furthermore, she is now the head of the doctoral school of the Polytechnic School of Tunisia. Her research interests are in handwriting process modelling and synthesis and in the artificial neuronal network domain.
