Ethel L. Mickey is Lecturer in Sociology at Wellesley College, USA. Her research examines gender, work and organizations, and social networks with a focus on high-tech settings. Her work has been published in Journal of Contemporary Ethnography, Feminist Formations, and Aggression and ViolenceAdia Harvey Wingfield is Professor of Sociology at Washington University in St. Louis, USA. Her research examines racial and gender inequality in professional workplaces, and her work has been published in numerous peer-reviewed journals including Social Problems, Gender & Society, and American Behavioral Scientist. She is also a contributing writer for The Atlantic. Professor Wingfield is the author of several books, most recently No More Invisible Man: Race and Gender in Men's Work, and has won multiple awards from sections of the American Sociological Association.
