Carol Burrell started out in physics and classics, somehow landed in children’s books, and is now an editor, author, illustrator, and translator of enough graphic novels to have lost count. When there’s time, she also works on her webcomic SPQR Blues. She grew up in New York City and a little bit in Miami, swapped New York for London for a while, and, unrelated to any of this, loves big hairy dogs.
Jadzia Axelrod is an award-winning author, illustrator, activist, gadabout, and circus performer. She is the author of comics and graphic novels for Tor, Quirk Books, and DC Comics. She lives in Philadelphia where she cooks overly-elaborate meals for her wonderful wife and delightful child.
Erana Bumbardatore writes and copyedits random things in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, where she lives with her husband, her statistically improbable redheaded kids, and more pets than is really advisable. She is coauthor of the Truth Sleuth series but has no actual detective skills.
Kim Anderson is a children’s book editor. She enjoys reading, baking, and video games, and sometimes does all three at the same time. She lives in Bucks County, Pennsylvania with her family.
Anna-Maria Jung is an illustrator, cartoonist, and lover of fantastic stories who has worked with companies all over the world. She has even worked in animation, including collaborating with the legendary Bill Plympton. In 2009, she received a Fulbright scholarship and began a masters program in illustration at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York, graduating in 2011. She is currently living and working in Graz, Austria, producing illustrations for the editorial market, children’s books, graphic novels, and apparel.
