He is the Executive Secretary of the Academy of African Business and Development (AABD). Ellis L.C. Osabutey is a Reader in International Business & Strategy at Roehampton Business School, University of Roehampton. His research focuses on Foreign Direct Investment, Technology and Knowledge Transfer, SME Innovation Strategies, Mobile Technology and Financial Inclusion, etc. His empirical work generally covers developing countries and is focused on, but not limited to, Sub-Saharan Africa. Sigué is a Full Professor of Marketing at Athabasca University, the President of the Academy of African Business and Development (AABD), and a former Editor of the Journal of African Business.
