Anthony Dosen, Dip Tech, Dip Legal Studies, currently teaches at Brisbane State High School. Tony has vast experience in all business subjects but particularly in Legal Studies which he has been teaching for the past 18 years. He has been a panel member for the past 10 years and is currently the District Panel Chair for Legal Studies for Brisbane Central. He has had experience as Head of Business; President of BEAQ in 2001 and for the past 5 years has been a Senior Year Level Supervisor. Leon Harris, B.A., LL.B., Gd. Dip. Ed., M.Ed., was the Senior English Coordinator at Maroochydore State High School until recently. He also taught Legal Studies and Junior English. He was previously a solicitor employed as a legal consultant to various Sunshine Coast law firms. He practised in the areas of business and commercial law including partnerships, copyright, defamation and trademark law as well as Magistrates Court criminal and civil matters. At this time he also taught local high-school students a 'You and the Law' module for Social Studies. He is currently the Director of Academic Studies at Crested Butte Academy in Colorado in the US. Rebecca Brock, B.Legal and Justice Studies, LLB Dip. Ed., has been teaching in Mount Isa for just less than two years. In this time she has taught Legal Studies, SOSE, Junior and Senior Business, and Computing. Johanna Field, B.Ed. has a Bachelor of Education majoring in both Legal Studies and SOSE. She has been teaching Legal Studies at Maroochydore State High School for three years. Legal studies and justice in the legal system are some of her passions. She also plays and coaches many different sports. Dianne Imarisio, M.Ed. (in progress), Justice of the Peace (Qualified) is a Legal Studies teacher at Thuringowa State High School, and is the District Review Panel Chair for Legal Studies in Queensland and Western Australia. She has a background of 21 years' teaching experience in Legal Studies as well as Business Education, English and SOSE. She also has experience as a marker for the Queensland Core Skills Writing Task, as a Senior Schooling Coordinator, and has been involved with many legal studies students' competitions, as well as organizing Legal Studies teachers' conferences. As a member of the Queensland Law Society's Schools and Higher Education Committee, she has also co-chaired the Society's annual State Legal Studies Teacher's Conference. Dianne is President of the North Queensland branch of Business Educators' Association of Queensland and is also a member of the Queensland Justices' Association. In 2002, in conjunction with Queensland Parliament and Education Queensland, she was the northern regional schools' coordinator/organiser of the Regional Sitting of Parliament's Youth Parliament in Townsville. Don Smith, B.SocStud (Hons), LLB, B.Ed., M.Ed. (Hons), is Head of Humanities at Caloundra Christian College. He teaches Legal Studies, Modern History and SOSE and is a member of the Sunshine Coast District Legal Studies Panel. He previously worked for 40 years for the Queensland Government as a Social Worker, in senior management and as a Principal Legal Officer. Between 2000 and 2004 he was a legal member of the Guardianship and Administration Tribunal. He is also a sessional lecturer at Christian Heritage College in the faculties of Social Science and Education and Humanities.
