Dogan Cuceloglu Author

Dogan Cuceloglu was born in 1938 in Silifke in Turkey. After graduating from Istanbul University's Department of Psychology, Cuceloglu completed his PhD in Cognitive Psychology at the University of Illinois. He then worked at Hacettepe and Bogazici universities in Turkey before serving as a visiting faculty member for a year at the University of California, Berkeley, on a Fulbright scholarship. While working at California State University, Fullerton, between 1980 and 1996, Cuceloglu published more than forty academic essays in Turkish and English. Since 1996 he has focused his attention on seminars, conferences and workshops geared towards college students, faculty members, parents and businessmen. Over the past two decades, Cuceloglu has published widely on the intellectual, emotional and behavioural disposition of Turkish society within the framework of cognitive psychology.
