Dr. Pardeep Singh is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Environmental Science, PGDAV College, University of Delhi, in New Delhi, India. He obtained his PhD at the Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) Varanasi. Dr. Singh has published more than 65 papers in international journals in the fields of waste management, environmental pollution, and agricultural nanotechnology, and has co-edited 30 books. Dr. Puja Khare works as a Principal Scientist in the Plant Production and Protection Division at CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow, India. She obtained her PhD from Dayalbagh Educational Institute (DEI), Agra, India. She has more than 25 years of research and development activity, and has published more than 100 peer reviewed publications. She serves as a member of various national and international scientific bodies. Dr. Khare’s research interests include nano-formulation for agricultural purposes, fabrication of green nanomaterials from industrial waste, application of biochar on problematic soils, abiotic stress and medicinal plants, and environmental chemistry. Dr. Disha Mishra is a Senior Researcher at the CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India. She received her PhD from CSIR-Central Institute of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants, Lucknow. Her research interests include the development of nano-bioformulations, nano-biocomposite preparation, smart delivery through nanomaterials, biochar production and its application for the remediation of pollutants from soil, soil chemistry, and solid waste management. Dr. Mishra has published several book chapters and research articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has also presented papers at international and national conferences. Dr Bilal obtained his Ph.D. from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with a specialization in Bioengineering and Applied Biotechnology. He has published more than 700 scientific contributions in the form of Research, Reviews, Book Chapters and Editorial type scientific articles in various areas of Science & Engineering. He is Associate Editor of the Bioengineered (Taylor & Francis), Frontiers in Microbiology and Frontiers in Chemical Engineering (Frontiers). He is also works as Guest editor, and editorial board member for various journals. He has edited several special issues and books and serves as a scientific reviewer in numerous peer-reviewed journals. Dr. Bilal has a collaborative network with national and international institutes/universities across the globe. Mika Sillanpää is a Professor affiliated to the Department of Biological and Chemical Engineering at Aarhus University, as well as King Saud University, Saudi Arabia. He received his M.Sc. (Eng.) and D.Sc. (Eng.) from Aalto University, Finland. Prof. Sillanpää’s publications have been cited over 44,000 times (Google Scholar), and he has received numerous awards for research and innovation. Among these, he is the first Laureate of the Scientific Committee on the Problems of the Environment (SCOPE)’s Young Investigator Award. From 2017 to 2020, he has been listed as a Highly Cited Researcher by Thomson Reuters. In 2018, he was invited to become a Member of the Finnish Academy of Sciences and Letters and the Academy of Technical Sciences.
