Bernadette Mazurek Melnyk, PhD, RN, CPNP/PMHNP, FNAP, FAAN, is the Associate Vice President for Health Promotion, University Chief Wellness Officer, and Professor and Dean of the College of Nursing at The Ohio State University. She also is a professor of pediatrics and psychiatry at Ohio State’s College of Medicine. She is a nationally/internationally recognized expert in evidence-based practice, intervention research, child and adolescent mental health, health and wellness, and is a frequent keynote speaker at national and international conferences on these topics.
Dianne Morrison-Beedy, PhD, WHNP, FNAP, FAANP, FAAN, is a Professor at University of South Florida, in the Nursing, Public Health, and Global Health departments. She served as Dean of the School of Nursing from 2010-2016. Before working at USF, she served as Assistant Dean for Research, Professor, and Endowed Chair at University of Rochester School of Nursing. Throughout her career, her research has focused on HIV prevention in adolescent girls and young women.
