Maulin P. Shah is the chief scientist and head at Industrial Waste Water Research Lab in Gujarat, India. He is an active researcher and scientific writer in his field for over 20 years. He received a B.Sc. degree (1999) in Microbiology from Gujarat University, Godhra (Gujarat), India. He also earned his Ph.D. degree (2005) in Environmental Microbiology from Sardar Patel University, Vallabh Vidyanagar (Gujarat) India. His research interests include biological wastewater treatment, environmental microbiology, biodegradation, bioremediation, & phytoremediation of environmental pollutants from industrial wastewaters. He has published more than 250 research papers in national and international journals of repute on various aspects of microbial biodegradation and bioremediation of environmental pollutants. He is the editor of 55 books of international repute (Elsevier, Springer, Nova Science, RSC, De Gruyter and CRC Press). Dr Deepanwita Deka received her BSc degree (2009) and MSc degree (2011) in botany, with a specialization in microbiology, from Gauhati University, Guwahati, Assam, India. She earned her MPhil and PhD degree in 2013 and 2020 respectively, from the Microbial Ecology Laboratory, Department of Botany, Gauhati University. She competently worked on plant and pharmaceutical microbiology during her MPhil and PhD research. She is an active researcher and her research interests cover mainly, plant-microbe interactions, agricultural microbiology, pharmaceutical microbiology, environmental microbiology, bioremediation, and myco-nanoparticles. Dr Deka has received many scholarships, awards, and fellowships during her education. She has many publications, including a number of national and international journals and books (Elsevier, Springer, CRC Press etc.), covering her interest in various aspects of microbiology
