David A. Backer is Assistant Director of the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland. He is also Director of the West Africa Transitional Justice Project. Paul K. Huth is Professor of Government and Politics and Director of the Center for International Development and Conflict Management at the University of Maryland. Jonathan Wilkenfeld is co-director of the Maryland Center for the Study of Terrorism and Responses to Terrorism. His books include A Study of Crisis (2000) and Mediating International Crises (2005).
