Darlene Leonard was born with a hole in her heart and a CANYON in her soul, out of wedlock into extended family violence. At age two, she survived an attempt on her life to “eliminate the unwanted mistake”. Her action-packed novels based on reality send a warning: DON’T LET THIS HAPPEN TO YOU OR THOSE YOU LOVE! She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California, and majored in English and Creative Writing at Fullerton College. She educates and inspires readers to awareness and overcoming faith through her life experiences and storytelling gift.
