1.       Dr. Wenying Xu

Wenying Xu received the B.S. degree in Mathematics from Anhui Normal University, Anhui, China, in 2011, the M.S. degree in Applied Mathematics from Southeast University, Nanjing, China, in 2014, and the Ph.D. degree from the City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong, in 2017. From 2017 to 2018, she was a Research Fellow in the School of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. From May to Aug. 2015 and from Oct. to Dec. 2019, she was an Academic Visitor in the Department of Computer Science, Brunel University London, U.K. From 2019 to 2021, she was an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow in PIK, Germany. She is currently Associate Professor in the School of Mathematics, Southeast University, China. Her research interests include distributed event-triggered control, distributed cooperative control, cyber-physical system, and game theory in networks.

 

Dr. Xu was a recipient of the Outstanding Master Degree Thesis Award from Jiangsu Province, China, in 2015, and an Alexander von Humboldt Fellowship in 2018. She currently serves as a member of Editorial Advisory Board for Chaos: An Interdisciplinary Journal of Nonlinear Science and an Editorial Board Member for International Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems


2.       Prof. Daniel W. C. Ho

Daniel W. C. Ho (F’16) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in mathematics from the University of Salford, Greater Manchester, U.K., in 1980, 1982, and 1986, respectively. From 1985 to 1988, he was a Research Fellow with the Industrial Control Unit, University of Strathclyde, Glasgow, U.K. In 1989, He joined City University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is currently a Chair Professor in applied mathematics with the Department of Mathematics, and the Assistant Dean (Teaching Innovations) with the College of Science and Engineering.  His current research interests include control and estimation theory, complex dynamical distributed networks, multi-agent networks, and stochastic systems. He has over 200 publications in scientific journals.

Prof. Ho is a Fellow of the IEEE. He was a recipient of the Chang Jiang Chair Professor Awarded by the Ministry of Education, China, in 2012 and the ISI Highly Cited Researchers Award in Engineering by Clarivate Analytics, from 2014 to 2021. He has been on the Editorial Board of a number of journals including the IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON NEURAL NETWORKS AND LEARNING SYSTEMS, IET Control Theory and Applications, the Journal of the Franklin Institute, and the Asian Journal of Control.

3.       Prof. Jinde Cao

Jinde Cao (M’07–SM’07–F’16) was with Yunnan University, Kunming, China, from 1989 to 2000. In 2000, he joined the School of Mathematics, Southeast University, Nanjing, China. From 2001 to 2002, he was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the Department of Automation and Computer-Aided Engineering, The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong. He is currently an Endowed Chair Professor, the Dean of the School of Mathematics, and the Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Key Laboratory of Networked Collective Intelligence of China and the Research Center for Complex Systems and Network Sciences with Southeast University, Nanjing, China. 

Prof. Cao was a recipient of the National Innovation Award of China, the Gold medal of Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, the Obada Prize, and the Highly Cited Researcher Award in Engineering, Computer Science, and Mathematics by Thomson Reuters/Clarivate Analytics. He is elected as a member of the Academy of Europe, a Foreign Member of the Russian Academy of Engineering, the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, and the Lithuanian Academy of Sciences, a member of the European Academy of Sciences and Arts, a Foreign Fellow of the Pakistan Academy of Sciences, a Fellow of the African Academy of Sciences, and an IASCYS Academician.
