Carolina Amador Moreno is Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her research interests centre on the English spoken in Ireland and include historical linguistics, stylistics, discourse analysis, corpus linguistics, sociolinguistics, and pragmatics.

Dagmar Haumann is Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Bergen, Norway. Her main research interests lie in synchronic and diachronic syntax, especially in the structural integration and licensing of modifiers in verbal and nominal projections, as well as in the development of speaker-oriented adverbs in English.

Arne Peters is Assistant Professor of English Linguistics at the University of Potsdam, Germany. His cognitive sociolinguistic and cultural linguistic work focuses on lexical, morphosyntactic and pragmatic manifestations of sociocultural cognition in L1 and L2 varieties of English worldwide, most notably the ones spoken in Ireland and South Africa.
