Clive S Thomas Author

Clive S. Thomas, who holds a Ph.D. in Political Science (1979) from the LSE (the London School of Economics and Political Science, University of London), is a Senior Fellow in the Thomas S. Foley Institute for Public Policy and Public Service, at Washington State University. From 1980-2011 he taught political science at the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS) Juneau campus. He has published ten books and over fifty articles and chapters in books, mainly in the fields of interest groups, political parties, state politics, legislative process and intergovernmental relations. His most recent book is, A Research Guide to U.S. and International Interest Groups (Praeger Publishers, 2004). His eleventh book, Alaska Politics and Public Policy: The Dynamics of Beliefs, Institutions, Personalities and Power, of which he is the editor, will be published in 2014 by the University of Alaska Press.
