Claire Sipi has worked in the children's publishing industry for over 25 years, first as an editor and now as a freelance writer, specializing in licensed publishing and non-fiction reference titles, ranging from branded character encyclopedias to general knowledge first encyclopedias and books on dinosaurs, nature, animals, science, technology and gadgets. Meg Kaufer is a founding member and current President of the STEM Alliance of Larchmont-Mamaroneck, NY. The STEM Alliance is a non-profit organization with the mission of creating a network of STEM learning opportunities. They work closely with local schools to run hands-on, applied STEM enrichment experiences. Highlights of their work include launching an annual public STEM festival, establishing competitive robotics teams, and creating a hands-on summer enrichment program. Meg has a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction.
