Dr. Elizabeth Burney Hamilton is an associate professor in the graduate department of clinical psychology at George Fox University, where she serves as director of rural child and adolescent psychological services. She earned her PhD in clinical psychology from UCLA, where she also completed her internship at the Neuropsychiatric Institute (now the Semel Institute). Her published research includes book chapters and multiple peer-reviewed journal articles. Dr. Hamilton is a licensed psychologist with over twenty years' experience. In addition to graduate training, she maintains an active clinical practice, specializing in child and adolescent issues and in mood disorders across the life span.
Dr. Kristie Knows His Gun is the internship training director for the George Fox Integrated Care Internship and the assistant director of clinical training for graduate department of clinical psychology. Additionally, she supervises practicum placements at Chemawa Indian School, overseeing service delivery to Native youth within a boarding school setting. Dr. Knows His Gun received her PsyD from George Fox University and completed her internship at Wasatch Mental Health. Her ongoing clinical practice is focused on comprehensive child and adolescent services.
Christina Tuning, is completing her PsyD in the graduate department of clinical psychology at George Fox University. Her training includes an internship at Samaritan Health Services and a postdoctoral placement at OHSU. Her role as an advanced graduate student within rural child and adolescent psychological services provides a unique perspective in developing a practical guide for trainees and practitioners.
