Christian Bonnet Editor

Christian Bonnet is professor at the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Director of the Centre d’histoire des systèmes de pensée moderne. His main research focus is the German and Austrian Philosophy of knowledge. He translated several philosophers into French, among them Popper (Die beiden Grundprobleme der Erkenntnistheorie) and Schlick (Fragen der Ethik and Allgemeine Erkenntnislehre). He is the editor (with Pierre Wagner) of L’Âge d’or de l’empirisme logique (Gallimard 2006). And he published L’Autre École de Iéna. Critique métaphysique et psychologie chez Jakob Friedrich Fries (Garnier 2013). Elisabeth Nemeth is Professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Vienna with a research focus on philosophy and history of the Vienna Circle (particularly Neurath, Zilsel, Frank) and epistemological aspects of social and cultural studies (particularly Ernst Cassirer and Pierre Bourdieu). She published Otto Neurath und der Wiener Kreis. Revolutionäre Wissenschaftlichkeit als politischer Anspruch (Campus 1981) and edited Encyclopedia and Utopia.
