Elliott Ingersoll is a Professor and coordinator of counseling programs in the department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning in the College of Education and Human Services at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio. He is a licensed psychologist and clinical counselor in the state of Ohio, where his areas of specialization are mood disorders, anxiety disorders, religious and spiritual problems, and substance abuse. Dr. Ingersoll is author or co-author of seven books and over two dozen journal articles and book chapters. His areas of publication are psychopharmacology, spirituality, and psychopathology. He lives in Kent, Ohio. Dr. Carl Rak is Professor Emeritus of Counseling in the Department of Counseling, Administration, Supervision, and Adult Learning at Cleveland State University in Cleveland, Ohio and President of the Cleveland Psychoanalytic Center. He has taught various courses throughout the years. His areas of specialization include AIDS counseling, new models of school guidance, and counseling children and adolescents. He is a Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio and a fully certified psychoanalyst. He divides his time between his private practice and visits with his grandchildren.
